On Wednesday, July 9, enjoy a special four-course dining experience hosted by Top Chef contestants Chef Evelyn Garcia and Chef Henry Lu of JŪN, along with Top Chef Season 22 alum Paula Endara. This exclusive event, located at 420 East 20th, is priced at $110, with an optional wine pairing available for an additional $55.
Join Brasserie 19 for its annual Red, White & Brut Bastille Day Bash on Saturday, July 12, from noon to 3 p.m. Taking place at 1962 West Gray, this lively event in partnership with Veuve Clicquot and Moët Hennessy features an afternoon filled with Champagne, specialty cocktails, and delectable French-inspired bites. Guests can expect pours of iconic brands like Veuve Clicquot and Dom Perignon, along with festive food specials, raffles, and a soundtrack inspired by French discothèques.
Celebrate 713 Day on Sunday, July 13, at Bayou & Bottle located at 1300 Lamar. Guests will feast on chef Gaby Jimenez’s Wagyu Beef Hot Dog and fries, all for just $7.13, available throughout the day and night.
Craft Pita also brings back its 713 Day Cookout on Sunday, July 13. This year, chef Rafael Nasr collaborates with James Beard Award winner Thomas Bille of Belly of the Beast and Milk & Sugar for a special one-day-only menu. Stop by the West U location at 5172 Buffalo Speedway from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to sample lamb neck tacos, kibbeh tostadas, and olive oil cake ice cream, and stand a chance to win tickets to the Southern Smoke Festival.
On Monday, July 14, Etoile Cuisine et Bar will commemorate Bastille Day with a sumptuous four-course prix-fixe dinner crafted by chef Philippe Verpiand. Guests at 1101-11 Uptown Park can savor dishes like jumbo shrimp with charred cantaloupe, and veal filet medallions accompanied by morel mushroom sauce and crispy potato cake. The dinner is priced at $78 per person, with optional wine pairings available for $38.
In recognition of Nelson Mandela Day, Nando’s PERi-PERi will host a Pantry Raid Food Drive on Friday, July 18, from 3 to 6 p.m. Guests who bring a non-perishable food donation will receive a free quarter chicken and PERi Chips. Donations collected in Houston will benefit Second Servings.
Lastly, on Sunday, July 20, Four Seasons Hotel Houston’s speakeasy, Bandista, welcomes a one-night pop-up featuring Singapore’s renowned Jigger & Pony and its sister establishment, Cosmo Pony from Jakarta. From 7 p.m. to midnight, guests can explore signature cocktails like Jigger & Pony’s Spicy Margarita and Espresso Martini, as well as Cosmo Pony’s Nastar Milk Punch and Tequila Vesper. Cocktails will be priced from $30 to $40, with proceeds benefiting Camp H-Town. Reservations are required for 60-minute seatings, ensuring a premier dining experience.
