iiCE Fitness, located off Stemmons Freeway in West Dallas, is revolutionizing the cycling class experience with a vibrant atmosphere that encourages music, celebration, and community. Owned by Marisol Garcia, a passionate instructor, each session is designed to feel less like a traditional workout and more like an immersive indoor cycling adventure.
Garcia emphasizes camaraderie among participants, stating, “The experience is about embracing each other.” This philosophy has shaped iiCE Fitness into a community-oriented studio where studio-goers can engage with each other through enthusiasm-filled classes.
One of the studio’s standout features is its eclectic music selection, which plays a crucial role in elevating riders’ spirits. Live DJ sessions and performances by live bands are highly popular, creating a lively and energetic environment that sets iiCE apart from conventional cycling studios.
Particularly well-received is the ‘Bici Bici Banda’ class, which integrates live banda music into the workout, appealing to audiences across Texas. In addition to this, classes like “Cycle Coffee Raves,” “Magic Bike,” and live DJ Rides showcase the studio’s quirky charm and commitment to providing memorable fitness experiences.
Garcia’s journey to fitness studio ownership was influenced by her love for cycling and music, developed in her youth in McAllen, Texas. After taking her first cycling class at 16, she fell in love with the discipline and became a certified instructor two years later.
However, the dream of launching her own studio did not materialize until later. After encountering a post on Instagram that showcased 20 cycling bikes for sale from a Nashville studio, Garcia seized the opportunity. “I did everything in my power to get my hands on these bikes,” she recalled, adding, “20 is a small number, but I have to start somewhere.” With her brother, she ventured to pick up the bikes and went on to acquire another 20.
Leveraging her background in architecture, Garcia meticulously designed and constructed much of the studio herself, alongside her fiancé. This hands-on involvement allowed her to create a unique space that resonates with her vision for classes that celebrate connection rather than competition.
iiCE Fitness opened its doors on July 13, 2023, offering four distinct indoor cycling formats: RiiDE, RESULTS, RHYTHM, and iiCE 360. These classes cater to various skill levels and feature a diverse selection of music spanning genres like hip-hop, Latin, EDM, Arabic, and Indian.
Since its inception, iiCE Fitness has garnered multiple awards for its innovative approach. Garcia herself earned the accolade of Best Instructor in the U.S. from ClassPass in 2024, reflecting the quality and impact of her teaching style.
“It is the feeling that we’re working on,” Garcia explains. “It is the experience that we work on. It is a mind-body-soul connection that we work on that makes you want to keep coming back for more.”
The studio operates Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. and again from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Their first class is priced at $15, providing an accessible entry point into this exceptional fitness experience.
With its unique approach and enthusiastic community, iiCE Fitness continues to make waves in the Dallas fitness landscape, inviting individuals to experience a new way of cycling.
