This morning, Time Out New York proudly announced its annual TONY* nominations, recognizing the best work on Broadway during the 2024-25 season.
With a competitive array of performances and productions this year, the nominees reflect a diverse selection across various categories.
The TONY nominations serve as a platform for Time Out New York to express its opinion on what should be honored by the prestigious Tony Awards (the Antoinette Perry Awards), even though they do not serve as the official nominating committee.
As a reminder, these nominations highlight what Time Out New York believes are deserving productions rather than predictions for the actual nominations, which are set to be revealed on May 1 at 8:30 am.
The season has indeed been busy, filled with remarkable talent and creativity, making the selection process a formidable task for the TONY* nominators.
In certain categories, ties led to an expansion from five to six nominees to ensure that all deserving candidates received recognition.
