The following day, Saturday, May 31, the community can gather for the ‘LGBTQ+ Community Brunch’ at 11 a.m. at Freddie’s Beach Bar & Restaurant. At 2 p.m., Center Aging will facilitate a Pride Theater Outing at the Constellation Theater Company, where attendees can enjoy the musical ‘Head Over Heels.’ This performance features the upbeat music of ’80s rock band The Go-Go’s, wrapped in a narrative celebrating self-discovery and queer identity, making it a fitting choice for Pride season. RSVPs can be made through the DC Center’s website.

On Sunday, June 1, the excitement continues with ‘Prism at Anthem Row,’ held at 8 p.m. at 800 K St., N.W. This event promises an extravaganza of fashion, art, and self-expression.
