Celebrate Pride Weekend with Exciting Events Across L.A.

This weekend, Los Angeles is alive with vibrant celebrations as it gears up for the 55th Annual LA Pride Parade, culminating in a series of exciting events throughout the city.

The iconic LA Pride Parade & Block Party will take center stage on Sunday, featuring a festive march that winds through key streets including Hollywood Blvd, Cahuenga Blvd, Sunset Blvd, and Highland Ave.

This grand event anticipates an impressive turnout with over a hundred floats and tens of thousands of spectators expected to fill the streets, accompanied by a street fair along Hollywood Blvd from Argyle to mid-Bronson Ave.

The festivities kick off with the parade at 11 a.m., and the entire event is free to attend, inviting everyone to join the celebration.

For those looking to utilize public transit, the Metro B or D Line services will conveniently take attendees to either Hollywood/Highland or Highland/Vine stations, making it easy for everyone to get to the heart of the action.

In addition to the Pride Parade, L.A. has scheduled several other exciting activities worth visiting this Sunday.

One standout event is the Out Block Party at Angel City Brewery, which runs from noon to 7 p.m.

Collaborating with GLAAD, Makeshift Muse, DTLA Proud, and Truly LA, this afternoon block party promises a range of unique vendors, an engaging drag show, aura readings, and live music.

Like many of the events this weekend, entry to the Out Block Party is also free, creating an inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy.

Another fascinating option is Puppets in the Park at Hollyhock House, where the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the Bob Baker Marionette Theater, presents two enchanting shows at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Families can delight in this magical morning filled with puppetry, accompanied by engaging art activities led by the Barnsdall Junior Arts Center instructors.

This event is free as well, without any ticket requirement, allowing families to share this unique experience openly.

For those who prefer a musical outing, the 8th Annual Monrovia Music Fest is a perfect choice.

Taking place at Monrovia Library Park, this fest features live band performances, food trucks, activities, and an artisan market, ensuring the entire day is filled with family fun.

This festival also welcomes attendees free of charge, running from noon to 7 p.m.

If you’re looking for more engaging activities, there are plenty of options in L.A. today.

The Hollywood Bowl continues its season kickoff weekend with the Roots Picnic Experience: The Class of ’95, showcasing famed artists like Lil’ Kim and Method Man & Redman, along with DJ Quik and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony for a memorable mid-90s hip-hop performance.
