As the summer heat ramps up, Atlanta gears up for a vibrant weekend filled with cultural celebrations, food festivals, and live entertainment from June 13–15.
From iconic comics to soulful music, the city offers a diverse mix of activities catering to all interests.
Kicking off the weekend is the RangerStop & Pop Comic Con, set to take place at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park.
This well-loved convention celebrates Power Rangers, anime, and pop culture, featuring celebrity guests, cosplay contests, gaming events, and engaging panels.
The event runs from 1:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on June 13, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 14, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 15, offering attendees a chance to immerse themselves in their favorite fandoms.
Ticket prices start at $35 for daily passes or $60 for a weekend pass.
Next, the Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music Festival will take place on June 14–15, featuring a parade at noon on June 14.
Held at Piedmont Park, the event offers cultural performances, an array of vendors, and two stages of live music, all celebrating the rich history of Juneteenth.
Best of all, admission is free, making it an accessible way for families and friends to engage in important cultural discussions.
Additionally, the Juneteenth Family Festival will be hosted at Oakland Cemetery on June 14, running from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
