HOUSTON — The once tranquil streets of the Fallbrook subdivision in north Houston have transformed into what many residents are calling a hazardous speedway.
Residents claim that the chaos began nearly two years ago when Fallbrook Drive was extended to link with Interstate 45.
Since the connection was made, locals say drivers, including large semi-trucks, have begun to speed through the neighborhood, completely disregarding the posted 20-mph speed limit.
Alejandro Matamoros, 81, a long-time resident of the area, explained the dangers he faces daily.
