Southern Nevada is gearing up for an exciting Fourth of July, filled with fireworks displays, parades, and a variety of special events, promising something for everyone in the community.
One of the highlights will be the 31st annual Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade which is set to take place on July 4 at 9 a.m. The parade is expected to feature an impressive lineup of 70 entries, which include military and veterans’ groups, lively floats, and performances from various local organizations.
This year’s parade will start at Hillpointe Road and Hills Center Drive, making its way south to Village Center Circle, before turning west on Trailwood Drive and concluding near the corner of Trailwood Drive and Spring Gate Lane.
In addition to the parade, several other festivities are scheduled across the region, starting with Boulder City’s 77th annual Damboree. This celebration kicks off at 7 a.m. with a Rotary pancake breakfast at Bicentennial Park, 1100 Colorado St. At 9 a.m., visitors can expect a spectacular flyover by the Boulder City Veterans Flying Group, followed by the parade down Colorado Street and Nevada Highway, ending at Broadbent Memorial Park.
After the parade, activities will continue at the Boulder City Swimming Pool with games, food, a beer wagon, and local vendors. Later in the day, Veterans Memorial Park will host live music and various activities starting at 4 p.m.
For those looking for a fun evening, the Boulder City fireworks display will light up the sky at 9 p.m. with free admission to all attendees.
In northwest Las Vegas, Buckskin Basin Park will also host an exciting event called “Blast Off in the Basin,” starting at 8 p.m. on July 4. This celebration will feature fireworks alongside performances from the Somerset-SkyPointe Marching Band and a DJ, with several food trucks available for guests. Guests are encouraged to bring water and low-back chairs or blankets for comfort during the festivities.
On the Strip, Caesars Palace will present its fireworks show at approximately 9 p.m., visible to the public from outside near the Las Vegas Boulevard sidewalk. For those wanting a closer and more upscale experience, the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis will offer a viewing option with food and drinks at $150, while Planet Hollywood and Giada at The Cromwell will also serve special menus alongside fireworks views.
Circa will host its annual Star-Spangled Glamour event on the 60th floor, starting at 7 p.m. for a stunning view of the fireworks, including live music and an open bar. Tickets for this event begin at $195, making it one of the premium experiences of the night.
Durango will also celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks display from the Bel-Aire Backyard lawn, accompanied by DJ entertainment starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase, with prices starting at $10 for children.
The First Friday event in downtown Las Vegas will transform into a lively celebration as well, beginning at 5 p.m. with art, live music, and food vendors. Attendees will have a chance to see the fireworks launched from the rooftop of the Plaza, enriching the festive atmosphere.
Green Valley Ranch Resort will open its doors at 7:30 p.m., inviting guests to enjoy fireworks and enjoy DJ entertainment, with tickets starting at $10 for children.
For Henderson residents, the City of Henderson will host an array of free activities and entertainment starting at 6 p.m. at Heritage Park, featuring a performance by country musician and U.S. Marine veteran Tony Jackson at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks will commence at 9 p.m., contributing to the lively celebrations throughout the city.
Lake Las Vegas will partner with Henderson to present a fireworks display identical to the one in Henderson at 9 p.m.
In Laughlin, the “Rockets Over the River” fireworks show will illuminate the Colorado River at 9 p.m., with free public viewing available along the Laughlin Riverwalk to witness the breathtaking spectacle choreographed with patriotic music.
M Resort will host a “Red, White & Boots” celebration featuring a 15-minute fireworks show at 9 p.m. Public observation is free, with VIP reserved viewing available at the M Pool for a fee.
The Moapa Band of Paiutes will hold its annual “Rock the Sky” celebration at the Moapa Paiute Travel Plaza, featuring live country music, local food trucks, and a designated area for the public to light off fireworks, culminating in a professional fireworks show that begins at 10 p.m.
Palms Pool will offer a live radio remote, along with a fireworks viewing party at 9 p.m. starting at $25 per person.
Plaza Hotel and Casino is also getting in on the action with fireworks launching from its South Tower at 9:15 p.m. A variety of events will take place, including a Buffalo wing eating contest leading up to the main event.
For those wanting to celebrate at Resorts World, a festive pool area will feature fireworks viewing, live music, and wine offerings for guests aged 21 and older, with tickets starting at $53.05.
Rio will kick off its two-day celebration with an all-you-can-drink rooftop party and a DJ from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on July 4, while Ipanema Beach Club will offer a night swim and fireworks viewing opportunities.
The Strat will launch a fireworks viewing party from its Tower Observation Deck starting at 5 p.m., featuring various fun activities including a hot dog-eating contest. Tickets are available for both children and adults.
This June 4, with so many events planned across the region, residents and visitors alike can enjoy a variety of patriotic celebrations highlighting the unity and spirit of Independence Day in Southern Nevada.
