The San Diego County Board of Supervisors has decisively voted to advance an action plan aimed at addressing the ongoing sewage crisis affecting the Tijuana River.
In a meeting held on Tuesday, the board approved the proposal with a vote of 3-1, directing Ebony Shelton, the chief administrative officer, to present detailed recommendations by September 30.
Supervisor Jim Desmond cast the sole dissenting vote.
