Andrew Levy, CEO of AdPipe, believes that today’s creative community is navigating unprecedented challenges in what he describes as the ‘Age of AI.’
Creatives are now faced with the demanding task of integrating AI into their workflows while maintaining high-quality output, all without a clear guideline or playbook.
According to Levy, the core question that remains unanswered in the industry is whether AI ultimately enhances creativity or poses a threat of replacing it.
He expressed his thoughts in an interview with Hypepotamus, emphasizing that for AI tools to be effective, they need to augment, not overshadow, the unique voice of individuals and brands.
In his view, this moment presents a compelling opportunity for creativity as AI simplifies content production.
Levy insists that genuine creative thought, brand identity, and originality will become the distinguishing factors for the leading brands in this evolving landscape.
As part of AdPipe’s commitment to authenticity in storytelling, Levy is organizing a new event named Modular, set to take place this fall in Atlanta.
The event will center on the theme of authentic storytelling and will feature speakers such as podcast and YouTube figures Andrew Huberman and Casey Neistat, aiming to emphasize the future of marketing and creative narratives.
Hosted at The Eastern venue in Intown Atlanta, Modular will also include strategic sessions designed for brands, marketers, and creatives who seek to better grasp AI’s role in storytelling.
Levy pointed out that the future of marketing no longer adheres to a one-size-fits-all approach.
In order to resonate with diverse audiences across various channels, creative teams must adapt their narratives to fit different contexts and moments.
As he stated, the strategies of the future will be localized, personalized, and modular.
Levy brings a wealth of experience to AdPipe, having previously worked at Live Nation where he held the position of Director of Sponsorship.
In 2013, he co-founded Chispa House, a production company based in Athens, Georgia.
Now at the helm of AdPipe, he is focused on empowering marketers and brands to create a high-performing digital library from video footage, ensuring that video content is utilized to its maximum potential.
Recently, the company has seen growth in both its team and its investor base, having raised a $6 million seed round led by Atlanta Ventures.
Additionally, the AdPipe team showcased their vision at Venture Atlanta and participated in the Engage program, a 10-week accelerator aimed at refining market strategies for B2B startups.
Levy’s relocation from Athens to Atlanta was also strategic, aiming to immerse himself in the city’s dynamic creative ecosystem.
He believes that Atlanta has the potential to lead in promoting authenticity during the AI era, leveraging its status as a media hub.
When asked about his greatest concerns regarding AI while navigating the startup landscape, Levy highlighted the opportunities that it presents.
He sees AI not as a challenge but as a great equalizer, enabling innovations that were previously unimaginable.
His excitement far outweighs any apprehension as he looks forward to contributing to shaping this new era in creativity.
