New Details Emerge in Drowning Case of Influencer Emilie Kiser’s Son

Authorities in Arizona have revealed new information regarding the tragic drowning of 3-year-old Trigger, the son of influencer Emilie Kiser, which occurred in May of this year.

The Chandler Police Department released a report detailing events surrounding the incident, highlighting that Brady Kiser, Trigger’s father, was home with the couple’s two sons while Emilie was out with friends on May 12.

According to the report, Trigger drowned in their backyard pool and was submerged for about seven minutes before his father noticed him and attempted to revive him. Tragically, Trigger succumbed to his injuries six days later in the hospital.

Initially, police suggested that Brady Kiser could face charges of child abuse, but the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office ultimately decided against pursuing any allegations. They stated there was ‘no reasonable likelihood of conviction’ based on the circumstances.

Brady Kiser’s attorney expressed gratitude to law enforcement and the county attorney for their thorough investigation, asserting that the incident was a tragic accident.

In a call made to authorities around 6:41 p.m., Kiser informed the responding officer that he had lost track of Trigger for approximately three to five minutes prior to finding his son unconscious in the water.

Later interviews revealed that Kiser was watching Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics at the time, believing he was attentive to his children. He stated, ‘I didn’t have a clock, obviously… but it was moments, it wasn’t minutes.’

However, surveillance footage presented in the report indicates that Trigger had been alone for a minimum of nine minutes, and had been in the water for approximately seven minutes before being discovered.

The footage clarified that Trigger did not intentionally enter the pool; he tripped and fell in while playing with an inflatable chair.

Further investigation into Kiser’s phone activity revealed that a $25 bet was placed earlier that day on Jayson Tatum scoring more than 40 points in the NBA game, coincidentally at around 5:14 p.m. The wager ultimately paid out $102.50.

The police report emphasized that the incident resulted from Trigger being ‘unsupervised while playing around the unsecured pool and unable to swim.’ It was noted that Brady Kiser’s attention was clearly divided during this timeframe.

The release of this report occurred just one day after a ruling in Arizona Superior Court favored Emilie Kiser, permitting her to seal certain details concerning her son’s death from the public.

Despite her substantial following across platforms like TikTok and Instagram as a parenting influencer, Emilie Kiser has not publicly offered any commentary regarding the heartbreaking incident.

As of now, an attorney representing the Kiser family has not responded to requests for further statements.
