The University of Washington, located in Seattle, has made an impressive leap in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings, now tied for No. 42 among national universities.
This marks a four-spot improvement from the previous year’s ranking, reflecting the institution’s growth and continued commitment to educational excellence.
In total, five universities from Washington state were included in the comprehensive list of over 400 national institutions, which was published on September 23.
Notably, the University of Washington’s ranking ties it with prominent universities such as Boston University, Rutgers University – New Brunswick, and the University of Maryland, College Park.
With an extensive array of degrees offered and a student enrollment exceeding 62,700 across its three campuses for the 2024-25 academic year, the university is starting its autumn term this week.
