Georgia Lottery players had a thrilling weekend, winning substantial prizes across several games, including Fantasy 5, Powerball, Mega Millions, Quick Win, and Diggi Games.

The most notable victory occurred on July 26, with a Fantasy 5 ticket worth $308,474 matching all five numbers: 03, 07, 11, 22, and 26.

This winning ticket was purchased at Dallas Neighborhood Food Mart located on West Memorial Drive in Dallas.

Fantasy 5 is a jackpot game exclusive to the Georgia Lottery, starting with a jackpot of $125,000.

Several other substantial wins have been recorded recently.

On July 19, a lucky player in Savannah took home an impressive $865,050.

Just a few weeks earlier, on June 29, a ticket sold in Fairburn earned a staggering $1,064,097.

Another notable win from June 13 saw a Villa Rica ticket deliver a hefty jackpot of $1,501,742.

On June 3, a resident from Covington claimed a prize of $529,972, while a Morrow player won $749,445 on May 20.

Adding to the excitement, a Cartersville player recorded a record-breaking win of $2.49 million on May 11.

On April 23, two tickets were each worth $447,264, highlighting the ongoing luck of Georgia Lottery players.

Furthermore, a ticket sold in Marietta on March 19 netted its holder $820,337.

In addition to the Fantasy 5 wins, a Pooler resident celebrated a Powerball win of $50,000 by matching four white balls along with the Powerball itself, using a ticket purchased through the Georgia Lottery mobile app.

The next Powerball drawing, featuring a staggering jackpot of $364 million, is set for July 28.

The Mega Millions also managed to shine on July 25, as a ticket bought at Fine Food Mart in Brunswick matched four white balls along with the Mega Ball, increasing an initial prize of $10,000 to $30,000 due to a 3X Megaplier.

Another Columbus winner celebrated a $20,000 prize from Circle K with a similar ticket using a 2X Megaplier.

The next Mega Millions drawing is anticipated to occur on July 29, featuring a jackpot of $130 million.

Quick Win games produced two major winners on July 26, with a player from Lithonia earning $38,867 from Double Win Quick Win and a Temple resident winning $31,388 playing Hit $250 Quick Win.

Both of these victories were secured through the Georgia Lottery mobile app.

Diggi Games, available online and on the lottery’s mobile platform, also offered several major prizes:

An East Point resident playing Merry Money Mania won $100,000 on July 27, while a Marietta player claimed $20,000 from Lucky 7s Multiplier on July 24.

Covington had a winner of $16,353 on Jackpot Spectacular on July 26, and Snellville saw a player win $15,000 on Mighty Mustang on the same day.

A Valdosta winner took home $15,000 from Midas Match on July 23, and a Hephzibah resident won $10,000 playing Wild Star Multiplier on July 24.

An Evans player also won $10,000 on Merry Money Mania on July 23, along with a Blythe resident who claimed $10,000 playing Keno! via the mobile app.

These winnings are immensely significant, as proceeds from all Georgia Lottery games contribute to educational programs across the state.

Georgia maintains a 5.75 percent state tax on winning lottery tickets, alongside a 24 percent deduction for federal taxes.

The Georgia Lottery sends the names of any winners exceeding $600 to the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Additionally, they ensure that outstanding child support payments for prizes above $2,500, as well as student loans and state taxes for prizes above $5,000, are deducted.

As of June 30, the Georgia Lottery has contributed $1,471,352,000 towards the HOPE scholarship program and pre-K initiatives, as reported by GLC officials.
