As Green Valley Ranch approaches its 25th anniversary, it is set to unveil a remarkable $200 million transformation that will revitalize nearly every aspect of the resort.
Located in Henderson, just 12 miles south of the famed Las Vegas Strip, the beloved hotel opened its doors in 2001, offering a sophisticated alternative to the bustling atmosphere of the Strip.
The resort’s renovation commenced earlier this summer, with a comprehensive redesign of all 493 guest rooms and suites that will be completed in phases through 2026.
Station Casinos’ in-house team has collaborated with Avenue Interior Design to infuse a modern flair into the property’s Mediterranean-inspired architecture.
Upgrades in the deluxe rooms introduce a more residential ambiance, characterized by layered textures, artistic walnut lighting, and custom stone finishes.
The design incorporates caramel tweeds and shagreen leathers to create a refined, lived-in space while unique details like analog alarm clocks and curated artwork by Zoe Bois add personality and charm.
The enhancements are even more evident in the suites, particularly within the West Tower where 37 remodeled suites showcase luxury materials such as ivory onyx, burnished brass, and hand-crafted woodwork.
These suites feature spa-like bathrooms with oversized soaking tubs and rainfall showers elegantly framed in marble.
Modern conveniences such as smart TVs, automated lighting, and integrated entertainment systems enhance the guest experience, while select suites offer balconies or patios with scenic views of the pool, in addition to butler service and premium amenities including Dyson hair dryers and Agavia toiletries.
The highlight of the suite collection is the expansive two-bedroom 2,790-square-foot Strip Suite, resembling a luxurious private residence complete with a stunning rooftop terrace that boasts panoramic views.
Guests can also enjoy a striking red tiger onyx bar, a butler’s kitchen, and meticulously curated design pieces from Daniel Fine Art and The Future Perfect.
The updates extend beyond guest rooms, as Green Valley Ranch has also made significant improvements to its public spaces in recent years.
The Drop Bar, which reopened in late 2021, now serves as a dazzling centerpiece on the casino floor, featuring an impressive chandelier and sweeping views of the resort’s picturesque grounds.
This spring, the resort’s expansive eight-acre backyard pool area was revitalized with new cabanas, enhanced daybeds, and soothing finishes that complement the garden-like landscape.
New offerings, including Polaris Bar, were introduced along the casino promenade in 2023, providing a circular community space with sports screens, bartop gaming, and globally-inspired cocktails.
To cater to high-stakes gaming enthusiasts, the resort expanded its High Limit Table Games room in late 2023 and updated its High Limit Slots room in early 2024.
In the culinary department, the recent addition of Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill marks a significant enhancement to the dining experience at the resort.
Operated by chefs and brothers Eric and Bruce Bromberg, the restaurant features a wood-accented interior, a 13-seat sushi counter, and a menu that includes exquisite sashimi, delectable Japanese hot dishes, and their signature fried chicken with wasabi honey.
This establishment complements a robust selection of local favorites, including Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis, Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca, and Pizza Rock by Tony Gemignani.
As the current renovation phase concludes, future updates are planned for the East Tower, South Lobby, and the resort’s meeting and convention spaces, with freshly renovated guest rooms in the West Tower becoming available starting October 1.
