Continued scrutiny surrounds President Donald Trump’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein, the late financier and convicted sex offender who died by suicide while in prison nearly six years ago.
Amid mounting questions regarding the Epstein files, the White House has implemented various strategies to divert attention from the unfolding narrative.
President Trump recently stated that fellow Republicans who continue to question the release of the files are being “duped” by Democrats, indicating he does not want their votes and labeled those pressing for transparency as “weaklings.”
In a social media tirade on Monday night, Trump targeted familiar adversaries including former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden as well as his 2016 rival, Hillary Clinton.
Trump’s posts also referred back to the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
