Music Legends Unite for Kiss Kruise in Las Vegas

The iconic rock band Kiss is making waves with its upcoming event, “Kiss Kruise: Landlocked in Vegas,” scheduled for November 14 to 16 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

This much-anticipated gathering will feature a dynamic lineup, including former Kiss guitarist Bruce Kulick, acclaimed vocalist Sebastian Bach, and members of the classic rock sensation Ratt, Stephen Pearcy, and Warren DeMartini, who will be performing the best hits of their band.

Among the newly announced performers are Quiet Riot, Black ‘N Blue, and Kuarantine, alongside several Kiss tribute acts such as Mr. Speed and Kiss Nation. The event will also showcase student performances from School of Rock, as well as entertainment from comedian Craig Gass and DJ Noiz.

The festivities kick off on November 14 with an acoustic Kiss “Kick-Off” set, setting the stage for a rock-filled weekend.

Attendees can look forward to exclusive Q&A sessions with iconic band members Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and Tommy Thayer, as well as longtime manager Doc McGhee. Additional panelists will include renowned Kiss producer Bob Ezrin; famed Kiss photographer Lynn Goldsmith; and Kiss Army founders Bill Starkey and Jay Evans.

A notable highlight of the event will be the panel titled “The Future of Kiss,” where fans will get an insider view of what lies ahead for the legendary band. The moderator for this panel will be none other than the event’s host.

As fans anticipate sneak peeks into upcoming tours, merchandise, and remastered music, the excitement around Kiss continues to grow. The panel will offer rock enthusiasts a unique glimpse into the enduring legacy of Kiss, ensuring a memorable experience.

In addition to the Kiss Kruise preparations, the Las Vegas entertainment scene has been buzzing with recent activities. Renowned rapper Too $hort made an unannounced appearance at Delilah at Wynn after his electrifying performance at Orleans Arena on Saturday night.

Impressive local musicians accompanied him, including Dave Siegel on keys, Eric Tewalt on baritone sax, Jimmy Powers on guitar, Ramiro Nasello on trumpet, Steve Meyer on trombone, Steve Flora on bass, and Earl Campbell on drums.

Delilah is also launching a new Saturday brunch that enthusiasts are eager to check out, contributing to the vibrant musical culture in Vegas.

Meanwhile, the Hard Rock Hotel’s history is slowly fading away, with the last notable remnant—the Hard Rock street sign—set for removal within the next six months. It is expected to be replaced by a new sign, potentially named Sir Richard Branson Way.

In the Colosseum residency, Kelly Clarkson continues to amaze audiences with her performances. During her recent show on Friday night, she belted out one of her favorite “Kellyoke” numbers, The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army,” giving it a powerful twist with her talented band.

Adding to the heartwarming ambiance, Clarkson’s 11-year-old daughter, River Rose, joined her on stage for a delightful duet of “Heartbeat Song,” a testament to the young talent’s growing prowess.

Moreover, the weekend saw a multigenerational pop icon recording a music video at the fortress of a prominent Vegas entertainment figure, raising anticipation around the collaboration. The event featured a rock star, a combat-sport type, a famous instrument, and an eye-catching bedazzled robe, suggesting intriguing developments on the horizon.

The entertainment spotlight also shone brightly on the “Boy Band Remix Brunch” at The Composers Room, showcasing the rich history of boy bands through a vibrant performance replete with costumes and choreography.

Led by choreographer David Nicoll, the group highlighted iconic bands such as New Edition, Boyz II Men, Backstreet Boys, N’Sync, and New Kids On the Block. With boy band nostalgia at its peak, the crew is setting their sights on a potential residency on the Strip.

Finally, for those looking for a laid-back musical experience in Las Vegas, Rush Lounge at Golden Nugget remains a beloved hangout. Offering live music from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Sundays and Thursdays, and from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, it attracts local talent with no cover charge.

Famous for their hearty pours, bartenders welcome guests while they enjoy performances from groups like Atomic Radio, Crown Avenue, Rock 702, and High Rocktane, creating a vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of past Vegas glory.

As the music scene continues to flourish, fans and performers alike are carving out their legacies in the entertainment capital of the world.
