Mr. Georgetown Pageant Promises an Unforgettable Night of Talent and Community Spirit

Every October, Georgetown University students eagerly await one highlight that stands out above the rest: the Mr. Georgetown pageant, which takes place tonight at 7 p.m. in Gaston Hall.

Hosted by the Georgetown Program Board, this event transforms the stage into a showcase of diverse talents, as fifteen contestants compete through dance, singing, trivia, and more, all in the spirit of fun and community.

The anticipation builds on Campus Groups, Georgetown’s dedicated platform for event ticketing, proving that the excitement surrounding this pageant far exceeds traditional October festivities like tailgating or football games.

Tonight’s competition is set to be a vibrant display, and as the event approaches, we invite you to get to know the talented contestants participating in this year’s Mr. Georgetown pageant.

Renzogio Garcia, representing Mr. Club Filipino, hails from New Jersey and carries a personal mission to honor the legacy of his predecessors in the organization.

Garcia, a sophomore at the McDonough School of Business, emphasizes the importance of community and culture as he prepares to take the stage.

He expresses that while winning would be nice, he encourages judges to vote for whoever resonates with them the most.

Tomohiro Nozaki, Mr. GWOW, has a multicultural background that spans Mexico, the U.S., and Japan.

As a member of the Georgetown Weeks of Welcome and New Student Orientation teams, Nozaki embodies diversity and adaptability.

His performance promises to be multilingual, featuring elements of both singing and dancing, as he aims to bring his unique identity to the forefront.

From the School of Foreign Service, Oliver Ni, Mr. The Hoya, expresses gratitude towards the campus newspaper for entrusting him with this representation.
