Una Más Set to Open, Promising Baja-Inspired Culinary Experience

Una Más, a new Baja-Southern California fusion restaurant, is finally set to open its doors on Friday, August 1, after a series of transformations for its University Heights location.

Initially intended to be a German biergarten, the space has seen various concepts come and go before Collin Corrigan, founder of Ensenada’s Cervecería Transpeninsular, took the lead.

Having previously partnered with El Cruce+241 in Chula Vista, Corrigan now turns his focus to making Una Más a standout establishment.

To ensure the success of this venture, he enlisted renowned figures from the local food and drink industry, including Danny Romero, a new owner of The Lion’s Share, and Ian Ward of Service Animals, who has an impressive background working at several notable establishments.

Executive chef Real Coronado, whose culinary experience spans local restaurants in both Tijuana and San Diego, completes this high-profile team.
