The Raging Bull, a new fast-casual eatery known for its cheesesteaks, smash burgers, and milkshakes, is set to celebrate its grand opening in Pennsauken tomorrow.
Located at 6007 Mansion Blvd., the restaurant will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m.
In celebration of the occasion, owner Eric Adili plans to give away free cheesesteaks to the first 50 customers starting at 11 a.m., followed by free smash burgers for the first 50 guests at 4 p.m.
Adili’s venture is a continuation of his family’s legacy in the South Jersey dining scene.
Having grown up working at Palumbo’s in Cinnaminson alongside his father, Adili later worked at The Fat Tomato in Berlin.
After taking over The Fat Tomato in 2018 due to his father’s retirement amid illness, Adili ran the restaurant until his father’s passing in 2020 and navigated the challenges posed by the pandemic before selling it in 2023.
“Restaurants are in my blood,” Adili stated. “I’ve spent my entire life in this business, and this is where I belong.
I wanted to create a South Jersey–born brand that people can be proud of, one that supports local businesses, values quality, and feels like home for the community.”
Focusing primarily on three main menu categories, The Raging Bull offers cheesesteaks made from hand-trimmed ribeye that is shaved fresh daily and served on seeded Liscio’s rolls, smash burgers utilizing Schweid & Sons ground chuck on Martin’s potato rolls, and classic sides like fries and onion rings fried only in 100% beef tallow.
“Our goal is simple: use the highest quality ingredients, prepare everything fresh, and never cut corners,” said Adili.
“When you’re paying for a ribeye cheesesteak, you should taste the difference.
Every ribeye is sliced fresh daily, every chicken steak is brined and shaved in-house, and every fry is crisped in beef tallow for unbeatable flavor.”
Highlighting the menu are signature items such as The Raging Bull cheesesteak, which features ribeye, Cooper Sharp Whiz, chipotle mayo, and roasted Italian long hots, and The Red Hot October burger, showcasing thin sliced Vidalia onions, jalapeños, bully burger sauce, lettuce, tomato, and yellow Cooper Sharp American cheese.
The restaurant occupies a 1,600-square-foot space that has been newly renovated, previously home to Royal Indian Cuisine.
Updates include new flooring, ceilings, custom wooden counters, modern kitchen equipment, and a 12-seat counter.
Employing up to four full-time and three part-time staff members, The Raging Bull has also collaborated with neighboring business, The Juice Bar Juice Company, to offer exclusive fresh juices like strawberry lemonade and raspberry iced tea, made fresh each morning.
Conveniently positioned near Cherry Hill Mall, the restaurant will provide dine-in, takeout, and delivery options for its patrons.
“Pennsauken is the perfect spot,” Adili expressed. “We’re close to everything—from Cherry Hill Mall to downtown Philly—but we’re also part of a tight-knit local community.
My goal is for The Raging Bull to be both a neighborhood favorite and a regional destination.”
Plans for the future include the opening of three to five additional Raging Bull locations, as well as a sister concept named The Raging Rooster, which will specialize in hot chicken.
The Raging Bull will operate Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
