Exciting Concerts in Philadelphia This Weekend: Jonas Brothers, My Chemical Romance and More

This weekend promises to be electrifying for music fans in the Philadelphia area, featuring an array of must-see concerts.

From the Jonas Brothers at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion to My Chemical Romance at Citizens Bank Park, event-goers have plenty to look forward to.

Kicking off the weekend, the Jonas Brothers will take the stage at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, on August 14, 2025.

Celebrating their 20th anniversary, the iconic American pop band decided to shift their anticipated performance from Citizens Bank Park to offer a more intimate concert experience for their devoted fans.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and attendees can expect to enjoy opening performances from popular acts including Marshmello, The All-American Rejects, and Franklin Jonas, affectionately known as the Bonus Jonas.

For those who love rock music, My Chemical Romance will hit the stage at Citizens Bank Park the following day, August 15.

The band is celebrating nearly two decades since their landmark album, ‘Welcome to the Black Parade,’ by playing it in its entirety during their ‘Long Live: The Black Parade’ tour.

Considered one of Rolling Stone’s ‘500 Greatest Albums of All Time,’ this tour stop is a highly anticipated event for long-time fans of the band.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for what promises to be an unforgettable show, complete with a B-set that includes many of their other beloved hits.

Alice Cooper, known as the Godfather of Shock Rock, will also be present in Philadelphia this weekend, initially supporting My Chemical Romance at Citizens Bank Park.

On August 16, Cooper will headline a show of his own at Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem.

Fans can expect an exhilarating performance showcasing his iconic horror-rock style, complete with hits like ‘Poison,’ ‘School’s Out,’ and ‘Feed My Frankenstein’ as he brings his brand of rock psycho-drama to the stage.

Like Alice Cooper, another legendary musician, Billy Idol, will also perform that Saturday at The TD Pavilion at the Mann.

Idol has been a defining figure in punk rock for nearly five decades, and he will be on tour with ‘It’s A Nice Day To…Tour Again!’ Doors are set to open at 6:00 p.m. and Idol will be supported by Joan Jett and the Heartbreakers, promising a night of rock anthems.

Meanwhile, at the Xfinity Mobile Arena, fans can catch Linkin Park on August 16 as well.

The nu metal band is on their first full-scale North American headlining tour since 2014, featuring their new lineup with frontwoman Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain.

Their setlist will include new tracks such as ‘The Emptiness Machine’ and ‘Heavy Is The Crown,’ alongside other iconic hits that have made them a staple in both nu metal and alternative rock scenes.

Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., and their return to the stage is highly anticipated by fans old and new alike.

Rounding out the weekend, legendary frontman David Lee Roth of Van Halen will also be making waves at Wind Creek Event Center.

As an essential architect of rock, Roth’s contributions not only defined an era but also earned him a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Philadelphia’s concert scene is alive and well this weekend, offering diverse performances that celebrate milestones in music history.

Whether you’re a fan of pop, rock, or metal, the Philadelphia area has a little something for everyone, making it a musical weekend to remember.
