Pete Escovedo, the celebrated jazz percussionist and Grammy award-winner, is redefining his artistic presence as he prepares to showcase his lesser-known passion for painting.
With a career marked by collaborations with music legends such as Santana, Prince, and Stevie Wonder, Escovedo is embarking on an exciting multi-city art tour, inspired and orchestrated by his daughter Zina Escovedo.
As he approaches his 90th birthday on July 13, 2024, Escovedo remains actively engaged in the arts, currently touring Europe with his daughter Sheilah E.
Zina, who has been helping to curate exhibits of her father’s artwork for years, expresses a desire for her father to return his focus to painting, a passion he nurtured from a young age before fully immersing himself in music.
