GableStage is excited to announce that single tickets for its 27th Season will be available starting Tuesday, August 26.
This upcoming season will celebrate Jessie Wolfson and the newly named Wolfson Family Theatre, featuring a variety of award-winning dramas, acclaimed premieres, lively comedies, and a unique whirlwind romance.
Kicking off the season is the highly-anticipated Regional Premiere of “Harry Clarke,” running from October 10 to November 2, 2025.
This wickedly funny and sexually charged thriller is penned by Obie Award winner David Cale and showcases Mark H. Dold, known for his performances in “Appropriate” and “The Lehman Trilogy,” in a compelling solo role.
The story revolves around Philip Brugglestein, a shy Midwesterner who morphs into the dangerously charming Londoner, Harry Clarke.
As he seamlessly ingratiates himself into the lives of a wealthy family, his crafted web of lies begins to unravel, leading to unexpected twists.
Renowned director Julianne Boyd, the Founding Artistic Director of Barrington Stage, helms this production, ensuring it remains both seductive and unpredictable.
“Harry Clarke” is brought to audiences with support from leading sponsors Jeff Davis & Michael Miller, Jodi & Paul Tartell, and additional backing from Fraioli Interiors, Zelda Schwebel, and Roz & Charles Stuzin.
Following this thrilling start, the season moves into more tender territory with the Miami Premiere of “Left on Tenth,” running from November 11 to December 21, 2025.
Delia Ephron’s stage adaptation of her bestselling memoir offers a charming exploration of second chances in life and love, featuring communication through emails, phone calls, and flights across the country.
Making their GableStage debuts, Dalia Aleman and Stephen Schnetzer star as Delia and Peter, along with Margot Moreland and Ben Sandomir.
Notably, the production includes scene-stealing appearances by two canine companions, Buddy and Winston.
Directed by Bari Newport, with choreography by Associate Director Michael Marotta, “Left on Tenth” promises to be both heartwarming and expertly crafted — perhaps the only production this year to include its own paw-printed call sheet.
As the new year approaches, audiences will experience the haunting beauty of Nilo Cruz’s “Sotto Voce,” running from January 23 to February 15, 2026.
This play, receiving its first full English-language production in Miami, delves into the poignant history of the MS St. Louis, the ship that carried 937 Jewish refugees turned away from Cuba and the United States in 1939.
Drawing from the past, the narrative unfolds through the eyes of a young Jewish-Cuban researcher who is captivated by the voyage.
Through an intimate triangle that forms between an elderly novelist, a researcher, and another woman connected to both, the play explores themes of memory, longing, and the painful legacy of the Holocaust.
Sara Morsey, Gabriell Salgado, and Claudia Tomas bring these characters to life in what promises to be a lyrical and deep meditation.
“Sotto Voce” is presented by Rhoda Levitt, with key sponsorship from Alan Bernstein and Dan & Ann Bernstein, supported by the generous contributions from donors to the Jewish Philanthropy Initiative.
Spring welcomes one of the most ambitious productions in GableStage history: the Florida Premiere of Joshua Harmon’s “Prayer for the French Republic,” set to run from March 20 to April 19, 2026.
This powerful and darkly humorous family drama has garnered acclaim for its exploration of identity and safety across five generations of the Solomon Benhamou family.
It presents a contemporary narrative intertwined with historical context, beginning with a teenage boy’s attack for wearing a yarmulke, provoking a reckoning within the family and beyond.
Directed once again by Bari Newport, this production features a stellar cast, including GableStage veterans Patti Gardner, Casey Sacco, Michael McKenzie, and Jason Peck, along with his 13-year-old son, Holden Peck.
Debuting alongside them are notable South Florida talents and New York-based actors, enriching the production’s diverse representation.
“Prayer for the French Republic” is presented by Roz & Charles Stuzin, with leading sponsorship from the Funding Arts Network and support from donors to the Jewish Philanthropy Initiative.
To cap off the season, audiences will be treated to the award-winning “Eureka Day,” running from May 15 to June 14, 2026.
Fresh from Broadway, this incisive satire by Jonathan Spector focuses on an ultra-progressive private school in Berkeley, CA, where the necessity of consensus clashes with the disruptive forces of a mumps outbreak.
As the community’s polite decorum deteriorates amid demands for action, the play deftly tackles issues like identity politics and social outrage.
Directed by Zoetic Stage Artistic Director Stuart Meltzer, the witty ensemble cast includes Rachel Burttram, Rita Cole, Mark H. Dold, Ryan Didato, and Jordyn Moone, promising a comic explosion filled with sharp insights.
“Eureka Day” is presented with the backing of Zelda Kloner’s Gift Fund and further support from Gene C. Sulzberger in memory of Beverley Sulzberger.
With such a diverse and vibrant lineup poised for the 27th Season, GableStage continues to exemplify its commitment to bringing exceptional live theatre to the community.
Don’t miss your chance to experience this exciting season, beginning with ticket sales on August 26.
