“We wanted to honor vintage Vegas by crafting a space that offers more than just a quick backdrop for marriages,” Hogan stated, reminiscing about the chapel’s humble beginnings.
The design of Sure Thing Chapel reflects their vision, incorporating vintage decor from cities across the United States and even overseas. Each detail is meticulously curated to create an immersive experience for couples and their guests.
Hybarger remarked, “We haven’t skimped on those details. People really enjoy the design element, which sets us apart from traditional wedding venues in the area.”
The offerings at Sure Thing Chapel are as diverse as the couples they attract, from the creatively named Drive Thru wedding package to the comprehensive Whole Shebang package. Each package allows couples to personalize their experience further, with options like classic car rentals and themed officiants such as Lady Elvis and Surely the Showgirl.
Adding to the enchanting atmosphere, the newer Sure Thing Too features a vintage electric Wurlitzer piano, allowing guests to request songs live during ceremonies.
“We designed the chapel layout to ensure that couples and their guests do not feel rushed, giving them the freedom to enjoy their time together,\” Hogan added, highlighting the space’s intimate ambiance.
Sure Thing Chapel has become a popular choice not only among tourists but also locals, particularly members of the LGBTQ community. Hybarger emphasized the importance of creating a welcoming environment that has not always been guaranteed in traditional wedding venues.
“The wedding chapel scene has not always been super supportive of the LGBTQ community. We want to celebrate all kinds of love, and that has been incredibly important for us,” she said.
