The Who has launched their final tour, marking the end of an illustrious six-decade career.
Frontman Roger Daltrey revealed to The Times that this will be the last time fans can see the iconic band on tour.
The tour, dubbed “The Song Is Over North America Farewell Tour,” includes a highly anticipated stop at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, August 26.
Fans eager to attend the show can secure their tickets via services like Ticketmaster, StubHub, VividSeats, and SeatGeek.
New customers purchasing tickets through VividSeats can also enjoy a promo that gives them $20 off ticket orders of $200 or more by using the code MassLive20 at checkout.
As of August 12, ticket prices are accessible, starting with the cheapest options at $56 on StubHub, $52 on VividSeats, and $57 on SeatGeek.
Daltrey, who has faced health challenges including viral meningitis, expressed concern about the tour’s demands on his body.
He admitted, “It’s done a lot of damage… I’m wringing with sweat, which drains my body salts.
The potential to get really ill is there, and I have to be honest, I’m nervous about making it to the end of the tour.”
Furthermore, Daltrey disclosed that he is experiencing vision and hearing loss due to macular degeneration.
