After a day of vibrant Pride celebrations, concertgoers descended upon Lost Lake Lounge for an enchanting evening featuring the local dream-pop band look at fiona. This marked their first headline show, elevating the night alongside a selection of other Denver-based artists.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement as attendees filled the intimate venue, all eager for a memorable night of music.
The evening kicked off with synth-pop artist BabyBaby, who took the stage with their minimalist approach—just a computer and a synthesizer in hand.
Despite their unassuming appearance, they quickly captivated the audience with their ethereal blend of soft vocals and pulsating synth melodies, successfully setting a meditative tone for what was to come.
Next up was Datamen, a three-piece noise-rock band with echoes of the sound made famous by Nine Inch Nails.
They blasted through their first track but encountered technical challenges that threatened to disrupt their momentum.
However, bassist Blu Fernandez, alongside the entrancing guitar work of Augie Schroeder and the fervent drumming of Charlie Laxague, didn’t let this setback derail their excitement.

Following Datamen, Denver’s own grunge-gaze outfit Soneffs took the stage, introducing a heavier sound that provided a marked contrast to their predecessors.
With fuzz pedals engaged, the band’s lead singer, Charlotte Seckman, paired her sultry vocals with a powerful instrumental wall, resulting in a refreshing sonic break.
As the night continued, anticipation swelled for the highly awaited headline performance from look at fiona., shrouded in a thick layer of fog on stage with ethereal purple and blue lights illuminating their faces.
They opened their set with a reverb-laden original track that instantly uplifted the spirits of the audience.
This dreamy performance set the tone for a captivating evening defined by intricate sounds, lush effects, and vibrant emotion.
Kennady MacDonald, the lead singer and guitarist, took center stage with her delicate yet commanding vocals, supported harmoniously by fellow vocalist and guitarist Jeremy Kramer.
Among their lineup of primarily original songs, a notable guitar riff reminiscent of Radiohead’s “No Surprises” drew attention from the audience as they played.
