With a fusion of soul, new wave, and dance, the band has crafted a signature sound that resonates with pop enthusiasts.
Their latest album, “Man on the Moon,” features catchy singles such as “Ruin the Night” and the title track, showcasing their talent for creating melodic earworms.
Fans can also look forward to hits like “Out of My League” and “Handclap” during the performance, ensuring a night filled with memorable tunes.
The concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., and tickets are priced at $61.
Meanwhile, just days before, on July 18, the Epstein Family Amphitheater will host The Cream of Clapton Band, a tribute ensemble endorsed by Eric Clapton himself.
This act features a star-studded lineup with Nathan East and Steve Ferrone, along with Eric Clapton’s nephew, Will Johns, and Nathan’s son, Noah East.
The show will pay homage to Clapton’s iconic albums “24 Nights” and “Unplugged,” performing classic hits such as “Layla” and “Tears in Heaven.”
This concert also serves as a homecoming for Clapton, signed to Encinitas-based Surfdog Music, and features East, who will perform a solo set before the tribute.
Tickets for The Cream of Clapton Band range from $20 to $63, with the show starting at 7:30 p.m.
On July 20, Abbey Road, a tribute band to The Beatles, will perform at Scripps Park as part of the annual Concerts by the Sea series in La Jolla.
The band will entertain audiences with a set that spans the various stages of The Beatles’ career, wearing costumes and delivering classic songs from their repertoire.

This fun-filled performance encourages sing-alongs from fans of all ages, and admission is free, starting at 3:30 p.m.
Later that same day, another exciting act, Full Strength, will perform at Kate Sessions Park at 4 p.m.
This 11-piece funk band promises an energetic show, mixing well-known dance hits from artists like Stevie Wonder and Bruno Mars while showcasing both male and female vocals.
The classic revue format will have songs flowing seamlessly from one to the next, leaving the audience with little chance to catch their breath.
With a special emphasis on 1970s favorites like Rick James’ “Give It To Me,” the concert aims to keep the party atmosphere alive.
Admission is free, making it a perfect opportunity for an afternoon of lively music.
On July 22, Humphreys Backstage Live will host a special birthday bash for RosaLea Schiavone, a respected promoter in the San Diego music scene.
Known for her support of blues and roots music, Schiavone’s birthday concert will feature performances from prominent local blues artists.
Expect talents such as Nathan James, Mark Hummel, Anson Funderbergh, Junior Watson, Bill Stuve, and Wes Starr to grace the stage in honor of her contributions to the genre.
The event kicks off at 6 p.m. with tickets priced at $29, providing a fitting tribute to a cherished member of the music community.
