America First Legal Files Lawsuit for Transparency Against Judicial Agencies

America First Legal (AFL) has initiated a lawsuit against the Judicial Conference of the United States and the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, alleging that these agencies are unlawfully obstructing oversight of essential executive-branch functions.

The legal action aims to highlight what AFL describes as the agencies’ ideological bias and to promote greater accountability to the American public.

The lawsuit stems from AFL’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, which sought communication records between the Judicial Conference, the Administrative Office, U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, and U.S. Representative Hank Johnson regarding Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.
