John Mulaney, celebrated comedian and writer, is gearing up for a return to the stand-up stage with his new Mister Whatever tour.
Scheduled to take place at the Boch Center in Boston on September 25 and 26, this event marks Mulaney’s first performance in the city since 2023, when he recorded his latest Netflix special, Baby J, at Symphony Hall.
The upcoming tour promises to showcase an evolution in Mulaney’s comedic style, delighting his audience with fresh material.
As one of the most innovative figures in contemporary comedy, Mulaney has also made waves in the talk show arena with his Netflix series, Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney, which debuted during last year’s Netflix is a Joke Fest.
Meanwhile, fellow comedian Sam Morril is also set to make a much-anticipated return to Boston on August 7.
Performing at The Wilbur as part of his Errors tour, this will be Morril’s first show back on Tremont Street since his sellout run in 2023, where he recorded content for his one-hour special, You’ve Changed.
The special premiered last summer on Amazon Prime Video, further cementing Morril’s status in the stand-up circuit.
In addition to live performances, Morril co-hosts the popular podcast, We Might Be Drunk, alongside comedian Mark Normand, maintaining a presence in the whiskey industry with their curated Bodega Cat rye whiskey.
As the holiday season approaches, Jim Norton will also be returning to The Wilbur for a show on December 20, titled Now You Know.
Fans have long associated Norton with Christmas cheer, and although his last recorded comedy special, Mouthful of Shame, was released in 2017, he continues to perform stand-up nationwide and engage with listeners through his podcast, Jim Norton Can’t Save You.
Additionally, Ben Schwartz is set to bring his unique flair back to the Boston area on November 21.
Performing at Chevalier Theatre in Medford, Schwartz’s Ben Schwartz & Friends improv shows have garnered attention for their creativity and spontaneity, showcasing his immense talent beyond scripted performances.
Tickets for these highly anticipated shows are available now via venue presale using the code VANYA.
The general on-sale begins on Friday, April 25, at 10 a.m. ET, making it the perfect time for fans to secure their seats for a night of laughter and entertainment with these renowned comedians.
As the comedy landscape continues to thrive, this upcoming lineup in Boston promises to deliver memorable experiences with some of the industry’s strongest voices.
