Rising Star Adam Jackson to Perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 in Dallas

Adam Jackson sees the piano as a gateway to boundless musical possibilities.

With a vast repertoire at their fingertips, pianists are uniquely positioned to explore the works of some of the greatest composers in history. Jackson articulates, “The repertoire that pianists have is just so vast. Many composers have written some of their best music for the piano. Even those who didn’t compose primarily for it often created their orchestral works at the piano. As an instrument that takes on the responsibilities of melody, harmony, and rhythm, the piano allows me to experience more of music.”

The young pianist, crowned winner of the Dallas International Piano Competition 2024, will return to Dallas for a performance of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 in G major with the Dallas Chamber Symphony on April 29 at the Moody Performance Hall in the Dallas Arts District.

The concert will also debut Joe Kraemer’s composition, *Rivers and Dust*, alongside Schumann’s Symphony No. 1 in B-flat major, commonly referred to as
