Broadway Cabaret Announces Exciting Fall 2025 Season in Philadelphia

Broadway Cabaret has officially revealed its fall 2025 season, which promises a series of unforgettable performances for theater enthusiasts in Philadelphia.

Taking place in the elegant Rittenhouse Grill at the Warwick Hotel, Broadway Cabaret combines fine dining with intimate live performances from some of Broadway’s most celebrated stars.

The upcoming season features four special presentations showcasing six remarkable performers: Adam Pascal, Darius de Haas, Christine Ebersole, Billy Stritch on piano, and a festive Christmas show with Mark Nadler and Stephanie Pope.

Guests will indulge in a three-course dinner before enjoying an evening filled with songs and personal anecdotes from the luminaries of the musical theater world.

The season is designed to create a unique fusion of culinary excellence and theatrical brilliance, ensuring that each night becomes a truly memorable experience.

Kicking off the season, Adam Pascal will perform on Monday, September 29, 2025.

Pascal, who received a Tony nomination for his role as Roger Davis in the original cast of Rent, has an impressive Broadway resume, including principal characters in Elton John’s Aida, Something Rotten, and Pretty Woman: The Musical.

He also made appearances in popular films such as School of Rock and Tick, Tick… Boom!.

Next up, Darius de Haas will take the stage on Monday, October 20, 2025.

Known for his versatile performances on Broadway, de Haas has captivated audiences with his roles in productions like Rent and Carousel.

Moreover, he lent his voice to Shy Baldwin, the Nat King Cole singer on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

De Haas’s dynamic vocal abilities and commanding stage presence have made him a standout artist within the theater community.

Christine Ebersole will grace the stage alongside Billy Stritch on Monday, November 17, 2025, and again on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, for an enchanting cabaret titled An Evening with Christine Ebersole with Billy Stritch on Piano.

Ebersole, a two-time Tony Award winner known for her roles in Grey Gardens and 42nd Street, has numerous Broadway credits including War Paint and Camelot.

Additionally, she is recognized for her extensive television work, particularly her role in the show Bob Hearts Abishola.

Billy Stritch, Ebersole’s musical collaborator, is renowned for being Liza Minnelli’s musical director for 25 years.

He frequently headlines performances at Birdland and other notable venues and is also a Grammy Award-winning composer.

Concluding the fall season, Mark Nadler and Stephanie Pope will perform a holiday-themed cabaret entitled It’s Christmastime in the City on Monday, December 15, 2025.

Nadler has headlined at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and 54 Below and has received accolades including the Entertainer of the Year award from Broadway World.

Pope boasts a career that spans over 35 years with notable performances in multiple Broadway shows, including Pippin and Chicago, earning her an Astaire Award for her contributions to the theater.

Broadway Cabaret at Rittenhouse Grill holds the distinction of being Philadelphia’s only dedicated Broadway cabaret venue, further enhancing its appeal.

Guests can choose from various tailored dining options for an evening filled with Broadway magic in the elegantly designed Rittenhouse Grill, featuring plush armchairs and booths set against a luxurious cheetah print carpet.

For those seeking a quintessential dinner and show experience, standard ($200/pp) and premium ($225/pp) seating options begin at 5:30 PM, which include a rotating three-course prix-fixe meal that features the Grill’s classic Prime Rib.

Alternatively, guests can make backstage reservations for beverage-only service at a price of $75/pp, available starting at 7:30 PM.

These reservations allow attendees to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails or fine wines while observing the performances.

All reservations include gratuity and tax, with a delightful bonus: all cabaret attendees have the opportunity to participate in a brief meet and greet with the performer following the show.

Broadway Cabaret was initiated by producer Randy Swartz in partnership with the Rittenhouse Grill’s proprietor, Garth Weldon.

Before establishing this venture, Swartz garnered recognition as the Artistic Director of Dance Celebration and Next Move Dance, producing over 2,500 performances at the Annenberg Center.

Although he retired in 2020, Swartz’s influential legacy in dance presentation persists through Penn Live Arts, which continues his artistic traditions.

Garth Weldon, with over 28 years of expertise in hospitality, has developed Rittenhouse Grill into one of Philadelphia’s premier destinations for fine dining with a focus on creating memorable experiences.

Since its inception in December 2023 with Tony Yazbeck, who performed to a sold-out audience, Broadway Cabaret has featured nine Broadway stars, bringing high-caliber performances to local fans.

Randy Swartz expressed, “The fall 2025 season at Broadway Cabaret embodies everything we aimed to achieve when launching this series – bringing the finest Broadway talent into an intimate environment where audiences can truly appreciate cabaret artistry.

From Adam Pascal’s rock-infused style to Christine Ebersole’s exquisite vocal talent, each performer contributes a distinct interpretation of their art.

What truly distinguishes our series is the rare chance for audiences not only to enjoy remarkable performances but also to connect with these artists through personal stories and musical experiences that larger venues cannot replicate.”

Garth Weldon added, “My vision for Rittenhouse Grill is to be a sanctuary of sophisticated dining and entertainment in Center City, and our collaboration with Randy Swartz has allowed us to fulfill that vision in remarkable ways.

Our guests consistently express how extraordinary it is to savor world-class cuisine and, mere steps away from their table, experience outstanding performances within our unique setting.

Thanks to Randy’s dedication, the cabaret series is soon becoming a fixture in Philadelphia’s cultural landscape, and I am thrilled to be a part of it at Rittenhouse Grill.”
