Metro Atlanta’s Culinary Scene: Fall Events, New Menus, and Openings

The vibrant dining landscape of metro Atlanta is buzzing with exciting events and new offerings this fall, presenting an impressive variety of culinary experiences for food enthusiasts.

Kicking things off, The Mill Kitchen & Bar in Roswell is set to revive its popular Town Square Community Dinner Series on Sunday, Sept. 7.

This delightful evening will feature a four-course menu that includes tantalizing dishes such as Green Tomato Carpaccio with poached shrimp and a Smoked Chicken Leg Confit paired with applewood bacon creamed corn.

As the evening unfolds, guests will also enjoy Coffee-Cured Beef Tenderloin with blue cheese sweet potatoes, and for dessert, a decadent Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake awaits.

Starting at 6 p.m., the event will commence with a welcome reception, followed by the dinner complete with wine pairings.

Tickets for this memorable experience are priced at $130 per person (plus tax and gratuity), with all proceeds benefiting Friends of Roswell.

Another significant collaboration, Meals On Wheels Atlanta, is partnering with Arrivato Imports to host Caviar for a Cause, running from now through Sept. 13 at select Atlanta restaurants.

Participating venues include Umi, Lazy Betty, Avize and Bar Avize, Iberian Pig Buckhead, Hamp & Harry’s, Gunshow, and Kyma.

Each restaurant will showcase luxurious caviar dishes, and a portion of each order will support the mission of Meals On Wheels Atlanta to provide meals and essential services to local seniors in need.

Mark your calendars for the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, which returns from Sept. 11–14, 2025, at its new venue, The Home Depot Backyard next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

This year, the festival will bring together over 200 chefs, sommeliers, mixologists, and culinary insiders to showcase the best of Southern cuisine.

Local favorites, such as the Woodall, Marlow’s Tavern, and Buena Vida Tapas Bar, will be part of this exciting lineup, offering tastings, curated dinners, chef-led events, and tasting tents throughout the festival.

On Sept. 16, TWO urban licks will host Mini Mixology from 6:30–8 p.m., a hands-on cocktail class paired with chef-driven bites created by Executive Chef Chad Clevenger.

Participants will have the opportunity to craft three seasonal cocktails and can start with a sparkling welcome drink, with recipe cards to take home at the end of the session.

Tickets for Mini Mixology are $75 per person plus tax, fees, and gratuity, with VIP upgrades available for an additional $50.

The VIP upgrades include a bonus demo, extra bites, a bartender Q&A, and a Take Home Bar Kit, emphasizing the need for early reservations due to limited space.

The annual Festa Dell’uva at Pricci on Sept. 28 promises a festive evening celebrating Italy’s grape harvest, complete with entertainment, fine Italian wines, and an array of food stations featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Tickets for this Italian-themed celebration are priced at $89 per person and can be purchased via OpenTable.

Diverse dining experiences aren’t limited to just special events as new menu items are also making their debut in the metro area.

Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks, recently ranked #6 on Fast Casual’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers, has introduced limited-time menu items available in Atlanta from Sept. 3 through Nov. 11.

Fans can enjoy new offerings such as the Spicy Jawn and house-made Crib Chips, in addition to the Strawberry Dragonfruit Tractor Beverage, alongside the new Truffle Shuffle cheesesteak.

This innovative cheesesteak features seasoned halal steak, sautéed onions and mushrooms, Cooper Sharp and Provolone cheeses, and black truffle mayo, blending Philly tradition with Southern flair.

Dairy Queen is embracing the flavors of fall with its new Fall Treat Collection, which has launched and includes delectable options like the Caramel Toffee Cookie Blizzard, Pumpkin Pie Blizzard, and Maple Cookie Shake.

In celebration of DQ’s 85th birthday, members of the DQ Mobile App can snag a small Blizzard for only 85 cents from Sept. 8–21 with any purchase of $1 or more.

The dessert scene is also expanding at Lazy Betty, where Pastry Chef Lindsey Davis will debut a Dessert Tasting Menu starting on Sept. 9.

This four-course experience served nightly in the Bar Lounge can accommodate up to 12 guests and features rotating sweet creations.

Additionally, Lazy Betty is introducing a new in-house cake program for guests celebrating special occasions, offering custom entremets and classic cakes in various flavors and styles, available by advance order.

As for Mexican flavors, Moe’s Southwest Grill has returned its beloved Tequila Lime Chicken, now available with a zesty Tajín® twist starting Aug. 26.

This limited-time feature includes white meat chicken tossed in agave sauce with lime and jalapeño, with an optional chile-lime seasoning at no extra charge.

Fans can also indulge in the Queso Crunch Taco, made with Tequila Lime Chicken and Tajín, with Moe Rewards members enjoying a free taco through Sept. 7 with any purchase.

For those seeking dining deals, Baraonda Ristorante in Sandy Springs is introducing a fall special called Pastatini on Thursdays, offering a mix-and-match pasta and martini combo for just $25.

This deal includes five pasta options paired with five martini selections, making it a fun and customizable dining experience.

Brasserie Margot has introduced a new Pre-Theatre Dinner Menu available from Tuesday through Saturday from 5–7 p.m., featuring a two-course option for $38 or three courses for $45.

California Pizza Kitchen is launching $10 Pizza Days, offering its top four pizzas for just $10 each on Mondays and Tuesdays.
