Rush, the iconic rock band co-founded by Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, is set to embark on a remarkable tour in 2026, titled “Fifty Something,” honoring the band’s extensive music catalog and the legacy of the late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart. This much-anticipated tour marks over a decade since the duo last graced the stage together, and it is being positioned as a tribute to a friend and bandmate whose contributions are irreplaceable.
The tour will kick off with four performances at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on June 7, 9, 11, and 13, 2026. In addition to these shows, Rush plans to entertain fans in several cities across the United States, including Chicago, New York, and Cleveland, ensuring that music lovers have the opportunity to celebrate the band’s storied history in various locations.
Presale tickets for the U.S. tour dates will go on sale starting Friday, October 10, at 12 p.m. local time and will remain available until Sunday, October 12, at 11:59 p.m. local time as part of the Citi Presale. Fans holding a Citi card can access this presale by using the first six digits of their Citi credit or debit card as the presale code during the ticket selection process.
Following the Citi presale, there will be an artist presale on Monday, October 13, at 12 p.m. local time for fans in both the U.S. and Canada. To participate, fans must sign up for presale access before the closing deadline on Thursday, October 9, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Joining Rush on tour will be the talented German drummer, Anika Nilles, known not only for her technical prowess but also for her unique fusion of progressive drumming and groove sensibility. Nilles brings with her a wealth of experience, having performed alongside legends like Jeff Beck and gaining recognition through viral YouTube performances and academic teaching in the world of music.
Reflecting on the upcoming tour, Geddy Lee expressed the emotional significance it holds for him and Lifeson, stating, “It’s been over 10 years since Alex and I have performed the music of RUSH alongside our fallen bandmate and friend Neil. A lifetime’s worth of songs that we had put our cumulative hearts and souls into writing, recording and playing together onstage.”
He further shared, “After all that has gone down since that last show, Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we fucking miss it, and that it’s time for a celebration of 50-something years of RUSH music.” The duo is dedicated to performing a comprehensive selection of Rush’s beloved songs and honoring the exceptional legacy Neil Peart left behind.
Moreover, Lee hinted at the possibility of expanding the band’s sound by inviting additional musicians to join them on stage, allowing both him and Lifeson to showcase a fresh approach while reminiscing about past performances.
Additionally, Carrie Nuttall-Peart and Olivia Peart, Neil’s widow and daughter, voiced their support for the “Fifty Something” tour, acknowledging the immense impact Rush’s music has had across generations. “We are thrilled to support the Fifty Something tour, celebrating a band whose music has resonated and inspired fans for generations, and to honor Neil’s extraordinary legacy as both a drummer and lyricist,” they remarked.
They described Neil Peart’s musicianship as “singular,” highlighting the compositions’ complexities that redefined rhythmic expression. His talent as both a drummer and a lyricist is viewed as unparalleled, particularly in the way he connected emotionally with fans through his thoughtful lyrics.
Carrie and Olivia expressed their excitement for how the newly envisioned lineup will unfold, eagerly anticipating experiencing the legendary music of Rush performed live once again in the coming years.
As Rush prepares for this new chapter, fans are sure to eagerly anticipate what promises to be an unforgettable tour, filled with nostalgia, musical celebration, and, most importantly, an honor to Neil Peart’s lasting legacy.
