For those looking for a bit of a thrill, Night Out at The Cube offers a spooky, adult-oriented experience at Discovery Cube Los Angeles. From 7 to 11 p.m., guests can explore intriguing exhibits while savoring drinks and snacks, and participating in activities such as a corn maze and a costume contest. General admission tickets start at $36 and include two drinks.

Meanwhile, the Ivy Station Night Market invites families and pet owners to join in on a special Halloween-themed market featuring over 30 local vendors, tarot readings, and even mini pumpkin decorating. This free event runs from 5 to 10 p.m., making it a great option for a night out.

The weekend also marks the beginning of the 6th Annual Seaweed Festival, which kicks off on Friday with a Seaweed Speakeasy Fundraiser. Those seeking a haunting experience can attend the Urban Death Tour of Terror at Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre, which offers chilling vignettes and maze walks every Friday and Saturday through November 1. Advance tickets are priced at $24 online.

Another thrilling show this weekend is Delusion: Harrowing of Hell at the Variety Arts Theater in DTLA. This immersive theatrical experience offers a moving play that invites guests into a supernatural world and runs through Sunday with general admission tickets starting at $113.

For a more traditional haunted house experience, the Reign of Terror Haunted House in Thousand Oaks has returned for its 25th season, featuring 142 rooms over 32,000 square feet. Tickets start at $42.99.

Another cultural highlight is the 15th Annual El Velorio Cultural Celebration happening at Plaza de la Raza, showcasing art, performances, and food vendors. General admission tickets are available starting at $23.

For craft beer enthusiasts, the LA Beer Fest—Oktoberfest Edition—offers local breweries and food trucks at Los Angeles Center Studios, with tickets starting at $61.79.

The San Fernando Really Really Free Market also opens on Saturday, promoting community support with free food, clothing, and supplies. This grassroots initiative runs from 3 to 7 p.m. and emphasizes giving and taking based on need.

For dining options, Filled Market is partnering with Smorgasburg on October 12 to celebrate Filipino American History Month with more than 40 vendors and local artists, free to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Oh La La in Pasadena offers live jazz nights every Friday and Saturday, featuring delicious French dishes paired with live music for a perfect dining experience.

Lastly, Tender Fest returns to Beverly Hills for an all-you-can-eat chicken tender extravaganza, including a showdown featuring celebrity chefs. Tickets start at $102.
