New Tenants and Exciting Developments at Lee + White in Atlanta’s Beltline District

The West End’s Beltline district is buzzing with new openings, continuing a winning streak of tenant acquisitions at Lee + White, a dynamic mixed-use area that melds company headquarters, high-tech businesses, service providers, and experiential offerings.

Developers note that two interactive concepts and three new retailers have recently joined the already vibrant lineup at Lee + White, which features 11 buildings along a half-mile of the Atlanta Beltline’s Westside Trail.

One of the new attractions, The Game Show Challenge, has taken up 3,889 square feet in Building 1000, adjacent to Monday Night Brewing and Grady’s neighborhood health center.

This live, gameshow-inspired experience accommodates groups of six to 14 contestants who engage in 60-minute sessions filled with interactive games that echo popular gameshows.

Participants can expect a plethora of game styles, including trivia, word puzzles, and spin-the-wheel challenges.

The Atlanta location represents the fourth installment of The Game Show Challenge, which plans to expand to 30 venues across the U.S. over the next five years, with existing sites in Charlotte, Columbia, and Greenville, S.C.

In April, Atlanta Golf & Social also made a splash with its new location at Lee + White, featuring the city’s sole locally owned indoor golf club with multiple sites.

This latest venue, occupying 3,767 square feet within the food hall, skillfully merges Trackman simulator technology with a casual bar atmosphere and a full-service restaurant, appealing to golf enthusiasts and sports fans alike, particularly during MLS and F1 watch parties.

Adding further local allure, three fresh retailers have launched at the property’s container village, which was initiated in early 2023.

The container village initially faced hurdles but is now flourishing with seven leased units and five operational containers.

Among the latest offerings are Afrentic, showcasing authentic African apparel and accessories, Bloom Box Collective, specializing in customized flower arrangements, and Joyful Jarra, notable for its package-free personal care and cleaning goods.

These additions follow the April opening of Dill Dinkers, a pickleball concept that occupies 36,000 square feet at 1200 White St., part of an ongoing redevelopment by Lee + White owners Ackerman & Co.

Since its acquisition by Ackerman and MDH Partners in 2019, Lee + White has undergone a remarkable post-pandemic resurgence, introducing a bustling food hall with 19 vendors, a Great Lawn for events, and other new office spaces across over 200,000 square feet.

Despite the success, several substantial spaces remain available for lease, including the former digs of Best End Brewing.

In a bold move that could alter the car-centric culture of Atlanta, property owners recently announced a significant change to parking arrangements at Lee + White.

Starting September 1, the first two hours of parking in the large surface lots will continue to be free; however, fees will be introduced thereafter, with charges of $5 for two to five hours, and $10 for five to 12 hours.

This initiative raises questions about fairness among Atlanta patrons seeking to enjoy the amenities at Lee + White.
