Queens of the Stone Age Announces 2025 ‘The Catacombs Tour’

Queens of the Stone Age, known for their iconic hit ‘No One Knows’, has announced an exciting new venture as they prepare for their 2025 ‘The Catacombs Tour’ in support of their recently-released EP ‘Alive In The Catacombs’.

Kicking off in October and running through November, the band is set to grace ‘intimate’ theaters and symphony halls across North America.

The tour’s first leg will conclude at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Friday, October 10.

In an announcement on Instagram, the band described these concerts as ‘a limited series of very special one-night-only evenings at a curated selection of North America’s most historic theaters.’

Each show will feature all-new arrangements crafted specifically for this occasion, enhanced by assembled ensembles, promising fans unique and intimate performances that differ from any previous QOTSA tour experience.

Currently, the band is wrapping up their ongoing 2023 ‘The End Is Nero Tour’, which was extended earlier this year.

After taking a brief hiatus in 2024 due to lead singer Josh Homme’s emergency surgery, they have since rescheduled several shows.

Tickets for the upcoming Queens of the Stone Age shows are available through platforms such as Vivid Seats, with the official on-sale for ‘The Catacombs Tour’ set for Friday, June 27.

Vivid Seats, as a secondary market ticketing platform, offers tickets at varying prices depending on demand, and provides a 100% buyer guarantee to ensure secure transactions.

A complete tour schedule, which will include various North American and a few European dates, is available for fans looking to catch the band live.

On June 21, the band delivered an electrifying performance at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion.

Set List FM reports that their Chicago setlist featured a mix of classics including ‘A Song for the Deaf’, ‘No One Knows’, and ‘Go With the Flow’, among others.

In addition to their touring plans, QotSA released the five-song EP ‘Alive In The Catacombs’ on June 13.

This new mini-album is a departure from their usual sound, presenting a stripped-down, string-heavy collection filled with vulnerability.

The EP opens with the powerful ‘Running Joke/Paper Machete’, transitions into the gentle ‘Kalopsia’, and concludes with the quieter ‘I Never Came.’

Each track brings a unique and unexpectedly beautiful sound that showcases a different side of the band.

For those eager to hear the EP, ‘Alive In The Catacombs’ is available for streaming now.

As the music scene gears up for 2025, Queens of the Stone Age is among several huge acts set to tour.

Other notable performers hitting the road include System of a Down, Primus, The Who, Stone Temple Pilots, and the Sex Pistols.

Fans of rock music will have plenty of options to choose from as many of the biggest artists tour across North America in the coming months.
