Miami’s Hospitality Scene Shines with Newest Rankings of North America’s 50 Best Bars

Miami is making waves in the hospitality sector once again, particularly in its vibrant bar scene.

The recent unveiling of North America’s 50 Best Bars 2025 features an exciting collection of must-visit spots, and this year, for the first time, the extended ranking showcases bars ranked from 51 to 100.

In this impressive list, Miami is celebrated with four standout bars that promise visitors a unique cocktail experience.

First on the list is Viceversa, ranking at No. 56.

This newcomer is located in downtown Miami and hails from the creative minds of bartender Valentino Longo and the team behind the now-closed Jaguar Sun.

Viceversa is an aperitivo bar situated within the Elser Hotel.

It crafts a contemporary yet whimsically Miami-flavored take on traditional Italian drinks.

The World’s 50 Best notes, “For a true taste of Italy via Miami, opt for one of the signature cocktails like the Italian-VICE – an ode to the lemon granitas of the Amalfi coast made with bergamot, lemon sorbet, and vodka.”

The food menu complements the drinks with an emphasis on local produce, featuring a raw bar that includes Treasure Coast oysters, Middleneck Clams, and Royal Red Shrimp carpaccio.

Viceversa is further distinguished by its recognition as a finalist for the 2025 James Beard Awards and for inclusion in the latest Michelin Guide.

Next on the list is the Champagne Bar at The Surf Club, which comes in at No. 61.

Tucked away in Surfside within the historic Four Seasons Surf Club, this tropical gem boasts the largest champagne selection in South Florida.

With roots tracing back to its opening in 1930, the Champagne Bar has catered to a glam clientele, including icons like Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor.

This venue elegantly transports patrons back in time with its luxurious ambiance and imaginative cocktails.

📍 9011 Collins Ave, Surfside, FL 33154

At No. 77, Bar Kaiju presents a different flavor of fun.

Located on the second floor of The Citadel, this red-hued hidden gem celebrates worldwide monsters through its cocktail offerings.

The bar pays homage to famous creatures from beloved Asian cinema, showcased in its eerie electric red lighting, monster poster collages, and a playful cocktail menu designed like a deck of trading cards.

Each drink takes inspiration from well-known beasts, offering an intriguing and thematic drinking experience.

📍 8300 NE 2nd Ave 2nd floor, Miami, FL 33138

Lastly, South Beach welcomes the Swizzle Rum Bar & Drinkery, which is ranked at No. 78.

This late-night speakeasy, housed within the Stiles Hotel, operates until 3 a.m. daily and boasts an extensive menu of classic and contemporary cocktails.

With over 150 different rums on offer, it’s a haven for rum enthusiasts.

The World’s 50 Best recommends trying the $45 Florida Rum Experience, which allows patrons to sample a curated flight of four local spirits selected by the skilled bar team.
