Dallas Pride Month 2025: Celebrating Love, Identity, and Community

June has officially arrived, marking the vibrant Dallas Pride Month—a joyous celebration dedicated to love, identity, and the incredible strength of community. This month, the Dallas-Fort Worth area is ignited with dynamic events, performances, and festivities that light up every corner of the city. From the cultural vibrancy of the Dallas Arts District to the tranquil beauty of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, residents and visitors will find opportunities to engage and celebrate throughout the metroplex.

One of the standout events kicking off the festivities is **Metroball 2025**, held at S4 Nightclub on June 6. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Greg Dollgener Memorial AIDS Fund (GDMAF), the event will feature renowned performances from artists such as David Archuleta and Thea Austin. The fabulous drag queen, Cassie Nova, will host the evening, with ticket prices starting at $40 in advance, all benefiting the GDMAF.

The **Carrollton Pride Festival** on June 7 will invite attendees to immerse themselves in an explosion of color, music, and activities. Located at Horizon Unitarian Universalist Church from 11 am to 3 pm, this festival promises an exciting array of over 50 artist and vendor booths, live music, Pride bingo, and plenty of photo opportunities for everyone to showcase their pride and joy.

Next up is **The Women’s Chorus of Dallas Presents: Divas 2025**, taking place on the same day, June 7. Attendees will enjoy a night of music celebrating LGBTQ+ artists and allies with hits from top artists like Dolly Parton and Billie Eilish. The event at the Sammons Center for the Arts will also offer refreshments, ensuring a comfortable and fun-filled atmosphere for all.

On June 14, the **Dallas Pride Music Festival** promises to be a highlight of the month. Located at Fair Park’s Automotive Building, the festival will feature outstanding live music, vibrant dance performances, and over 200 vendors showcasing everything from crafts to Pride merchandise. Families can partake in the Family Pride Zone, an interactive space filled with bounce houses, face painting, and entertainment aimed at the younger audience, while the festival also provides a dedicated area for LGBTQ+ teens called Teen Pride.

Continuing the celebration on June 15 is the much-anticipated **Dallas Pride Parade**. This year, the parade will embrace the theme “Pride is My Right,” and is set to commence at 2 pm. With a dazzling procession of floats, performances, and pageantry, Billy Porter will serve as the honorary grand marshal, and best of all, the parade is free for all attendees.

The following weekend, on June 14, **Arlington Pride** will take center stage at Levitt Pavilion, hosted by the HELP Center for LGBT Health & Wellness. This vibrant celebration will feature a lively showcase of local vendors and a diverse roster of performers including Nymphia Wind and Ginger Minj, ensuring that the spirit of pride spreads throughout the heart of Arlington.

As the month progresses, Dallas Arts District will host the **8th annual PRIDE Block Party** on June 20. In collaboration with the Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas Museum of Art, and the Crow Museum of Asian Art, this free downtown event will be packed with entertainment—including drag shows, artist displays, and Pride-themed tours—all reflecting the deep-rooted connections within the community.

Also on June 21, the **Pride in Bloom** event at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden will bring a fresh perspective to the celebrations. Part of the “Summer at the Arboretum” series, this event will feature LGBTQ+ artists, live performances, and a vibrant vendor market, running from 9 am to 5 pm. Special appearances will be made by artists including DJ Dezi 5 and Pianist Brianne Sargent, providing a festive atmosphere amid the stunning floral backdrop.

On the same day, revelers can partake in the **Pride Bar Crawl**, where guests will experience some of Dallas’s most inclusive bars. With a check-in time between 4 pm and 6 pm, ticket holders will enjoy complimentary drinks, special offers, and access to a lively drag show.

Wrapping up the month on June 28, the **Positive Impact: A Legacy Pride Variety Show** will be a showcase of talent celebrating the LGBT+ community with an exciting range of performances. Running from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Rose Room on Cedar Springs Road, this event will highlight what Pride truly stands for: a celebration of love and the diversity of the community.

In the heart of Dallas, this month-long celebration of Pride invites everyone to come together, unite in love, and appreciate the vibrant tapestry of the community. With an array of events designed to engage and inspire, there’s something for everyone throughout Dallas-Fort Worth this June.
