The 2025 line-up for the festival at The Rady Shell features an impressive roster of some of the most acclaimed mariachi bands worldwide, including Mariachi Divas, Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlan, and Mariachi Campanas de America.

Mariachi Divas, an innovative all-female ensemble, is celebrated for its groundbreaking approach to mariachi music.
With three GRAMMY Awards and 13 nominations to its name, the group has entranced audiences over the years and will surely be a highlight of the night, marking a quarter-century of its impactful contributions to the music scene.
Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlan, hailing from Guadalajara, Jalisco, boasts a deep-rooted legacy in mariachi music and is currently regarded as one of Mexico’s finest.
Meanwhile, Mariachi Campanas de America, founded by Belle Ortiz in San Antonio, Texas, is credited with establishing mariachi education in the United States and creating the first U.S. mariachi festival 50 years ago.
With a long history of collaborations with prestigious institutions like the San Antonio Symphony, Houston Symphony, and numerous performances at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, this group also has 12 appearances at MARIACHI USA at the Hollywood Bowl under its belt.
Visionary Rodri J. Rodriguez founded MARIACHI USA in 1990 as a beacon of cultural celebration and connection.
Reflecting on its 36-year journey, Rodriguez expressed the significance of the festival’s name: “I named the festival ‘MARIACHI USA’ as an homage to mariachi groups living and working as mariachis in the USA. Most of our artists learned to speak Spanish by singing mariachi since they only spoke English!”
