New Image Brewing to Move to Larger Location in Olde Town Arvada

New Image Brewing has announced an exciting transition as the brewery prepares to relocate from its current Yukon Street location to a new spot across the Olde Town pedestrian walkway at 5614 Olde Wadsworth Boulevard.

The move comes on the heels of New Image’s evolution from its farm-to-table concept Table to a more casual dining experience with Arty’s Express, which specializes in burgers.

To celebrate this upcoming move, New Image and Arty’s will host a pop-up event at the new location on June 14 and 15, operating from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The grand opening is scheduled for July 12, marking the official transition while the Yukon Street location will remain operational until the move is complete.

General Manager Butch Gregg highlighted the overwhelming demand that Arty’s has generated, asserting that the Yukon Street location was no longer sustainable. With the new space, customers can expect table service, a significant upgrade from the previous counter-order setup.

“We’re really excited to get in there, have our grand opening and expand the menu a little bit,” Gregg stated. “We’re going to bring some salads and some fun stuff on the food side, and all the same New Image stuff. So, still doing really good cocktails with fresh-squeezed juice and all local Colorado spirits.

“The service aspect is crucial. With 12-person lines on a Friday night, the previous setup felt lacking. Now, we can deliver food much more quickly and efficiently to meet customer demands.”

The move also signifies a formalization of the partnership between New Image and Arty’s, with distinct zones dedicated to food and beverages within the new restaurant. Gregg explained that the first priority was securing a larger kitchen, along with a location in a bustling area.

“When (New Image Founder) Brandon (Capps) was first starting the business 10 years ago, he wanted to be on Olde Wadsworth,” Gregg explained. “The opportunity arose when Mangiami’s location became available, and the negotiation with the landlord was seamless. Relocating a restaurant is always a challenge, but being only a block away simplifies things.”

The former Mangiami’s location closed after being seized twice by the city of Arvada due to unpaid taxes. The restaurant was originally created by the team behind Urban Beets, an Olde Town vegan eatery.

Olde Town Business Improvement District Executive Director Joe Hengstler expressed enthusiasm for New Image’s move, emphasizing their reputation for quality beer.

“New Image has become synonymous with great, quality beer,” Hengstler stated. “Not only were they one of the first in the state to dive into hazy IPAs, but they have also really expanded their offerings over the years with different styles and collaborations with some of the state’s most respected breweries.

“It has been awesome to watch them expand over the years. The addition of Arty’s and a new food menu has made them a destination not only for beer but also for amazing food. We are so glad that they have made the decision to stay in Olde Town and continue to grow.”

In summary, New Image Brewing’s move to a larger space signifies a new chapter for the brewery, focusing on enhancing customer experience with table service, an expanded menu, and a more vibrant location in the heart of Olde Town Arvada.
