Endeavor Miami Highlights Entrepreneurial Spirit at 2025 Pitch Competition

Innovation took center stage at The Lab Miami on June 5 as 10 promising entrepreneurs presented their startups to a lively crowd of investors, mentors, and key figures in the tech community.

The occasion marked Endeavor Miami’s 2025 Pitch Competition, a platform designed not only for entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas but also for them to practice their pitching skills before a live audience.

The stakes were high, with participants competing for valuable prizes, including Delta travel credits, complimentary coworking memberships, mentorship opportunities, and access to a vast network of advisors and potential investors.

Claudia Duran, managing director of Endeavor Miami, emphasized the importance of such competitions in fostering community engagement.

“We believe that pitch competitions really bring the community together,” she stated. “Not only do we gather great entrepreneurs to pitch, but we also bring investors and partners who can support them.”

Duran noted the unmatched energy in the room during these events, where the word ‘pitch’ often prompts mentors to think about how they can assist founders.

The event witnessed significant interest, with over 90 applicants and 25 semi-finalists being selected to advance. From this pool, 10 finalists were chosen to refine their pitches through group coaching led by the Endeavor Miami team.

Among the panel of judges were notable figures such as Sarah Hippert, vice president of commercial banking at J.P. Morgan, Laura Gaviria Halaby, a private investor and startup advisor, and Ayal Stern, co-founder of The LAB Miami.

“One of the key components of the pitch competition is giving the founders exposure to the community,” Duran explained. “Crafting a good pitch takes a lot of effort because you never know who will be in the room or who you might meet.”

This year’s competition culminated in an hour of intense pitching, after which the judges undertook the challenging task of deliberating to select the top three startups.

In the end, the winners were revealed amidst palpable anticipation.

Taking first place was Real Grader, a digital marketing system for real estate and sales professionals founded by Alex Montalenti.

Real Grader’s innovative platform helps users measure, manage, and enhance their digital presence through various features including digital business cards and AI-powered content creation.

Remarkably, the company has amassed over 40,000 subscriptions, achieving a remarkable $2 million in annual recurring revenue and a total revenue of $4 million.

Montalenti shared the personal inspiration behind his venture, drawing from his mother’s challenging journey as a real estate agent after emigrating from Romania.

“In the year 2000, I came home from college and saw her crying because she didn’t know computers,” he recalled. “I helped her with digital marketing, and because of that, we sold a property and made an $80,000 commission check – that’s when I knew there was a niche for digital marketing for real estate professionals and salespeople.”

In the second position was 1PLTFRM, founded by Isidro Fernandez, aiming to transform Miami into a hub for private market investing targeted at non-U.S. investors.

This innovative platform is designed with a focus on Latin America and utilizes AI technology to automate several steps in the investment process, enhancing user engagement and optimizing the overall experience.

Third place went to Meet Betsi, a healthcare platform launched by Sergio Hernandez that emphasizes caregiver training with empathy and support.

The idea was inspired by Hernandez’s sister, Betsy, who faces several health challenges.

Through Meet Betsi, caregivers receive comprehensive training to better understand and meet the needs of their patients, ensuring a more efficient and compassionate caregiving process.

The event also featured a diverse array of other startups that presented their innovative ideas.

Sebastian Mourra spoke about Alphana.ai, which develops an autonomous AI content manager that can transform video content into over 30 different pieces.

Ricardo Pero introduced Cadenna, a digital platform designed to modernize supply chain finance.

Maykel De Cespedes pitched Dingdoor, an all-in-one application for home services.

Shir Ibgui talked about Globe THRIVERS, a platform that leverages AI to personalize travel planning.

Alexandra Baker shared her venture, In the Kitchen with Alexandra, focusing on premium West Indian condiments for home cooks.

Tamar Sapir presented Synchronyx, a solution for simplifying medication management through remote monitoring technologies.

Lastly, Ramiro Roballos introduced Tukki, a platform aimed at assisting U.S. immigrants through greater automation and transparency in their processes.

Endeavor Miami’s 2025 Pitch Competition successfully showcased the entrepreneurial energy in the area, underscoring the vital role of community support in fostering innovation.
