The Dallas Southern Pride organization has an exciting lineup for the Juneteenth Unity Weekend, kicking off on Thursday, June 19, and concluding on Sunday, June 22.
This year’s event features the “We the Community” Juneteenth Community Summit, a Thirsty Thursday mixer, a welcome reception, and multiple themed parties, including the much-anticipated Official Juneteenth Pool Party scheduled for Saturday at The Village Beach Club on Village Glen Drive.

On Wednesdays, older LGBTQ adults can find community and support at the THRIVE Resource Center’s THRIVE Wednesday Support Group.
Designed for those aged 50 and older, the group meets from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Resource Center Community Center located at 5750 Cedar Springs Road.
Led by interns from the SMU counseling program, this support group provides a safe space for sharing and mutual assistance.

This June is packed with remarkable events, starting with the Gay Pride Shabbat.
Congregation Beth El Binah is set to celebrate this ancient Jewish holiday on June 13, with Rabbi Denise Eger, the first lesbian rabbi elected as president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, serving as a guest speaker.

From June 13 through July 20, the Wyly Theatre will present the musical ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’.

Over the weekend of June 13-14, Pegasus Contemporary Ballet presents ‘Synergy 2025’, showcasing a blend of music and dance at Moody Performance Hall from 8-9 p.m. each night.
