The Dallas Police Department has apprehended two men, identified as Rodney Brown, 34, and Jorge Moncivais, 23, in relation to the shooting death of 33-year-old Drew Knowles in East Dallas, marking the city’s 13th homicide in June.
Knowles was inside a vehicle located in the 2700 block of Florence Street at approximately 8:45 a.m. when the two suspects opened fire, leading to a violent encounter.
Despite his attempts to escape, Knowles collided with another object shortly afterwards and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Following swift investigative efforts, authorities arrested Brown and Moncivais later that same day. Both have been charged with murder and are currently held in the Dallas County Jail.
