Comedy fans can catch Tom Green, a master of annoyance and humor, at Wiseguys Town Square.

Green’s shows, taking place at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, are well-known for pushing boundaries and testing audience patience and gag reflexes in hilarious ways.

Tickets for his performances are priced at $45, and more information can be found at wiseguyscomedy.com.

On the dance front, Nevada Ballet Theatre is set to present the world premiere of “Peter Pan,” featuring beloved characters such as Peter, Wendy, Hook, and Tinkerbell.

This production includes choreography by Trey McIntyre and elaborate sets and costumes by Emma Bailey, known for her work on “Six the Musical.”

Performances will occur at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday, and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and April 24, with additional shows through April 27 in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center.

Tickets start at $41.35, and tickets can be purchased at thesmithcenter.com.

Shoppers can look forward to the Easter Market in the Alley, taking place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday on the Green at The District at Green Valley Ranch.

This pet-friendly shopping event features more than 30 makers, artisans, herbalists, food vendors, live music, art, and an age-grouped Easter egg hunt, with free entry for all attendees.

In addition to these festivals, the Chalk It Down! Festival will also kick off, transforming the sidewalks in the Arts District into vibrant displays of creativity and artistry.

Scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, this second annual event will see local artists showcasing their skills by decorating 5-foot-by-5-foot spots in front of participating businesses.

The festival will additionally feature Market in the Alley’s expanded offerings, a kids zone, local musicians, and local beers, with free admission for everyone.

For ice cream lovers, Salt & Straw, located at 6815 Tom Rodriguez St., Suite 120, in UnCommons, is celebrating Earth Day on Tuesday by offering customers a complimentary waffle cone with any single scoop purchase.

As part of its sustainability efforts, Salt & Straw began using 5-ounce certified compostable scoop cups this April to reduce paper waste, while also introducing five new ice cream flavors created in partnership with brands dedicated to minimizing food waste in the U.S.

Music lovers will not want to miss Shred Fest, featuring a lineup of technical metal bands including Obscura, Atheist, Origin, Decrepit Birth, and Fractal Universe.

Set to perform at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Backstage Bar & Billiards, this event guarantees an exhilarating night of high-energy performances.
