Dallas Businessmen Lead Panel Discussion on JFK Assassination Mysteries

On June 9, 2025, two prominent Dallas businessmen, Dennis McCuistion and Dory Wiley, are set to take center stage at The Dallas Express’ event titled “Who Killed JFK?” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Community Beer Company, located at 3110 Commonwealth Drive, Dallas.

The panel discussion will delve into the enduring mysteries surrounding President John F. Kennedy’s assassination, reignited by recent federal orders and record declassifications that have heightened public scrutiny of this pivotal moment in American history.

McCuistion, a former bank CEO and a well-regarded figure in corporate governance, hosts the long-running PBS program McCuistion. He serves as a clinical professor and executive director at the Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance at the University of Texas at Dallas. Throughout his career, he has moderated numerous discussions on American institutions, but he is particularly passionate about exploring the nuances of the Kennedy assassination.

Wiley, the president and CEO of Commerce Street Holdings, LLC, is known for his work in managing investment funds specializing in financial institutions. Beyond his Wall Street achievements, Wiley has committed decades to JFK research, often highlighting the inadequacies in the Warren Commission’s findings—perspectives he shares with McCuistion.

The duo has collaborated on a series of influential opinion pieces for The Dallas Express, asserting their belief that a conspiracy surrounded Kennedy’s assassination and that essential evidence has been deliberately concealed by U.S. intelligence agencies.

Their recent editorial referenced a Gallup poll indicating that 65% of Americans still perceive Kennedy’s assassination as a conspiracy, contrary to the official conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. The pair attribute this pervasive belief to a significant decline in public trust in government, which has dropped from 80% in the 1960s to an alarming 20% today.

Central to McCuistion and Wiley’s argument is the ongoing withholding and redaction of vital documents, despite mandates under the JFK Records Act. Although both former Presidents Trump and Biden released select records, a substantial number of important documents remain classified, leading to ongoing calls for transparency.

The renewed expectation for answers has surged with Trump’s recent return to the White House and a new executive order issued in February 2025, aiming to facilitate the declassification of further records.

“There is a cover-up,” McCuistion and Wiley assert in their editorial. “Which by definition means there is a conspiracy.”

Their editorials outline notable contradictions within the official narrative. They reference former Presidents Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon, who both expressed skepticism regarding the lone gunman theory. Supporting evidence includes testimony from Secret Service agents, observations by Parkland doctors, and debates over disputed autopsy photographs, all of which underscore their belief in a wider conspiracy.

McCuistion and Wiley also scrutinize figures such as Ruth Paine, who sheltered Marina Oswald and had connections to the CIA. They point out that 25% of Paine’s testimony to the Warren Commission remains classified, raising further questions about the complete truth of the circumstances surrounding the assassination. Moreover, they highlight Jackie Kennedy’s sealed interview with historian William Manchester and her private communications with President Lyndon Johnson, suggesting possible concealed doubts about the official narrative.

Another critical area of discussion for the upcoming panel is the murky intersection of organized crime and the intelligence community. McCuistion and Wiley note still-classified FBI tapes associated with New Orleans mob boss Carlos Marcello and CIA operative E. Howard Hunt, both of whom have been linked, albeit with varying degrees of credibility, to theories suggesting that the assassination was orchestrated by powerful individuals operating from the shadows.

Bringing a unique perspective to this investigation, McCuistion’s background as a former chairman of several public company boards equips him with a forensic mindset focused on institutional transparency—or a lack thereof. He has applied that meticulous scrutiny to JFK-related documents through his work on public television, advocating for an informed discourse on this historic event.

Likewise, Wiley’s analytical prowess, honed throughout his career in fiduciary management, underscores his skepticism towards any official narratives that evade transparency and clarity.

With the panel rapidly approaching, it promises to become a landmark event for both conspiracy skeptics and truth-seekers alike. Timed precisely after a new wave of document declassifications and a congressional push to reevaluate CIA and FBI activities, the discussion is poised to be charged with relevance.

Whether attendees will receive a definitive answer to the question “Who killed JFK?” remains uncertain. However, McCuistion and Wiley firmly maintain that the current official story fails to align with emerging evidence and that the public has waited far too long for the truth.
